Which MagFilter Size Will Fit Your Point and Shoot Camera?
Quite a few people have been asking how they can determine which Carry Speed MagFilter size will fit their point and shoot camera. In the video below, I explain how to go about the step-by-step process of doing this, it’s super easy.
First you want to go to the Carry Speed website and download the PDF file for the MagFilter cutouts (HERE). Next, print the page and cut the 42mm and 36mm rings out. These cutouts are scaled exactly. You then simply place the circular cutout on your camera’s lens ring and make sure none of the view is obstructed and that there is no vignetting. That’s it!
The Carry Speed MagFilters boast high quality Glass Optics made in Japan encased in an all metal filter body. These work just like the filters that you would thread onto your DSLR, only these attach via a hair-thin metal ring. The MagFilter is designed to increase the possibilities and capabilities of your point and shoot compact camera. The MagFilter system allows you to use filters on high end compact point and shoot cameras with retractable lenses.

Whenever I go to the link for the PDF I get a “Google Docs error”. Happening on both of my computers. I see a brief glimpse of the document first- maddening. Are you able to still see it?
@Keith That is very strange, I am not experiencing this issue at all. What browser are you using?
First of all it’s not a PDF file. It’s a jpeg. And it prints out smaller than actual size. So I had to enlarge the image until those those two straight lines at the bottom measured 37mm and 32mm. It took two printouts to get it right using LibreOffice Draw and stretching the image to fit the width of the page.
