Varavon Motorroid – Motorized Slider Kit

Varavon seems to be coming out with some really cool tools for videographers and filmakers recently and the addition of the Motorized Slider Kit Motoroid to their affordable product catalog is just another one of those examples. Sliders feel incomplete nowadays without the ability to attach an optional motor for time lapse and stop motion capturing. Listening to what their customers want and need for their filming tool kit, Varavon has now made it possible to attach a motor onto your existing Varavon Sliders.

At the moment, the Varavon Motoroid is just for show, the release date will be soon announced. The price for the Motorized Slider Kit is currently $395.

I will soon have a video review of the Varavon Motoroid along with instructions on how to set it up with your existing Varavon Slider. If you guys have questions now that you’d like me to address in the video (before I shoot it) please let me know in the comment section below!

  • I have a varavon slidecam s and I wonder if this will work with it. I like using the slidecam lite because it fits in my backpack. I have a complete kessler crane motion control system but its just too bulky to bring everywhere… this plus the slidecam lite would be the most portable motorized motion control system.

I noticed this on their website. I am hoping to see more demos than the ones you’ve posted. Olivia, are they going to be sending you one to test?
I purchased their T3 tilt jib and received it in the mail today. I can’t wait to test it this weekend. Come on Sunshine.

  • I note that it says “Other brands can be applied.” Does this mean that the motor could be used with other slider systems?
