Trek-Tech Magnetic Connect System
The Trek-Tech MagConnect magnetic mount is a non tilt and swivel mount that can be used in conjunction with a plethora of products. This system acts as a solution in connecting items together without screws. This is a fast and secure solution to the common 1/4″ threads and screws that typically take a lot of time to attach and detach. The MagConnect may also be mounted on any industry standard 1/4″ threaded stud. You can also use the MagConnect with MagAdapters to create a quick release system for your own ball heads, monopods or tripods.

Are these safe? I mean, are the magnets strong enough for solid connection but won’t damage your electronic equipement(camera, sd or cf cards, external recorders, etc)?
Yes, the magnets are safe to use with media cards and cameras, Jordon. They’re really strong and safe for light weight objects, for DSLRs we use the locking magnets as quick release options.
