Sony Handycam NEX-VG20

Sony’s newest edition is a step up from the VG10 with vastly improved ergonomics including enhanced grips for balance and easier low-angle shooting and a second record button- to name a few. This brand new E-mount interchangeable lens camcorder shoots video in full HD and can capture 16 megapixel stills and AVCHD progressive 24p/60p. The 3″ LCD screen has the ability to be rotated 270 degrees and the NEX-VG20 mic supports stereo and 5.1 channel surround recordings. 11x optical zoom range and built-in Optical SteadyShot image stabilization. An optional LA-EA2 lens mount adaptor makes compatibility with A-mount optics possible with this E-mount camera. Sony’s “eco-system” plans will allow their customers to use the NEX-VG20 with other brands’ lens assets, breaking the proprietary box.
Sony’s NEX-VG20 is said to hit retail in November of this year for $2,199 with an SEL18200 F3.5-6.3 E-mount lens and $1,599 for the body.

I think this camcorder resolved the missing parts from the vg10, sounds great, but for me it’s not enough for the upgrade because my VG10 have less than a year with me (9 months) I think is too soon to sell it. I’ll prefer upgrade my old DSLR to alpha 65 or 77 and keep my VG10 for another year and wait for VG30 or wheatever is calling the next generation.
Sorry for my english, I like a lot of your web Oliviatech
If you shoot a lot with zoom and autofocus this may not be the ideal camera for you.
