Sigma’s 18-35mm F1.8 DC HSM Lens is the world’s first constant F1.8 SLR zoom lens. The brighter aperture at a maximum of f/1.8 means that this lens will offer the same depth of field and light gathering for APS-C DSLRs as an f/2.8 zoom would on a full frame. The extra light allowed to hit the camera’s sensor will help the overall image quality when shooting at lower ISOs. The 18-35mm focal length is a 27-53mm equivalent. No price has been announced as of yet from Sigma.
Would you guys shooting on APS-C DSLRs rather go for this Sigma 18-35mm F1.8 Lens or opt for switching to a full frame camera and buy the pretty affordable Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 IF EX DG HSM Autofocus Lens?aps-c, full frame, lens, Sigma, Sigma 18-35mm F1.8 DC HSM Lens, Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 IF EX DG HSM Autofocus Lens
