In the past I’ve used the Zoom H1 Digital Recorder as a wireless handheld microphone while simultaneously using it as an external audio recorder. The RØDE iXY Stereo Microphone is a recording device capable of up to 24-bit/96k* recording (iPhone natively will only allow understand up to about 48k) and has an on-board high-fidelity A/D conversion so your iXY recordings are rich and accurate.
