Love your website Olivia! Quick question(s): What type of hand held mic are you using? Is it recording into the H4N? Thanks.
Hi Tom, we’re using a Senheisser microphone from the G3 kit, and it’s going to a wireless receiver connected to a Juicedlink RM333 and then directly into a Canon 5D Mark III where we have visual meters and headphone monitoring. I’ll post some information about our setup as soon as the RM333 is officially available.

Hey Olivia. I wanted to say thanks for your blog and bothering to answer questions I had when I was trying to figure a few things out about DSLR videography. Most of what I know about DSLR video I learned via your blog and your videos as I am still new to all this. I’m excited because I get to use techniques I learned by watching your site while I am in the process of shooting my first paid DSLR gig, a series of short promotional videos for the private lesson teaching staff of a local music store.
