How did you light this video of yourself? The white background is so clean and pure without destroying your skin tones.
Thanks.
The infinite white is shot with saturation and contrast pulled all the way down, so it’s very flat in the camera. In post, these are adjusted. =)
Olivia, just a quick questions regard this video lighting and post processing you guys do later on.
1) What steps do you guys undertake ‘after filming this video clip’? Ie: Do you compressor the h.264 files from dslr from Canons flat image and then import to convert into ProRes LITE > After effects for upping the Saturations and Contrast to desire? And then ‘export again’ to which format for video editing work?
2) How do you maintain sharpness swchung application to another application?
3) I’m looking into my Workflow strategies so I can Export the BEST Hi def video for possible clients.
Looking forward to your suggestions. Thanks.
“swchung” lol! That’s pretty good prediction of iPad typing and spell check. I luv it!;-)
@Kam We have been using Premiere 6 so there are no compressors needed. Currently my editor only bumps up saturation and/or contrast in Adobe if needed. When he exports, he uses H.264 Vimeo preset in Premiere.
Great post Olivia, and great review! I was thinking about getting the pic dolly, but I´m getting THIS one instead!!!!
Thanks Olivia! Keep it up!
Hey Jerry, just remember that the Pico and the Kamerar perform differently and have slightly different abilities. If you are shooting with a smaller camera or need to shoot from small areas, the Pico may be your best fit. Buy accordingly! =)
OOOOOHH NOOOO!!! No international shipping yet! : ( When do you think it will be available outside the US?
Hi, Jerry… Unfortunately I don’t know if they will ship outside of the US.
Hmmm.. but where i can buy it ? I dont see any working links to this product. Can someone guide me please? THANXXX
The Glideshot website has it there. http://www.glideshot.com =)
Thanx Olivia, but on this website i dont see Kamerar’s new Cinema Skater Flex Dolly. Or i have to write them for this item? Thanx for help!
Hi Thomas, looks like they’re sold out on eBay! I updated the link at the bottom of the post.
