MagFilter – The Magnetic Circular Polarizing Filter for Point and Shoot Cameras
The Carry Speed MagFilters boast high quality Glass Optics made in Japan encased in an all metal filter body. These work just like the filters that you would thread onto your DSLR, only these attach via a hair-thin metal ring. The MagFilter is designed to increase the possibilities and capabilities of your point and shoot compact camera.
The metal filter body is designed black with red accents and has an anodized coating for durability. For convenience, a teardrop neoprene travel pouch with spring clip is provided with each MagFilter purchase. Their 36mm Polarizer MagFilter is perfect for small compact cameras like the Canon Powershot S95/S100, while the 42mm Polarizer Magfilter fits on cameras like the Sony HX9V, Sony HX20V, Sony HX30V, and the popular Sony RX100.
The MagFilter system allows you to use filters on high end compact point and shoot cameras with retractable lenses. They’ve released the Polarizer filter in 42mm and 36mm with an ND filter and other sizes to follow.
