Vimeo user Benjamin Dowie shot this incredibly impressive video on his Apple iPhone 4S. I had to watch this a few times to really believe what I was seeing with my own eyes. The detail, the sharpness, the freakin depth of field (from a phone!) the overall look of this video and quality of the optics is enough to make a grown up cry. The video stabilization is quite impressive as well. Ben gave the footage a slight grade with the 3-way color wheel in Final Cut 7 but the raw colors from the phone are crisp and clean alone. How can any other phone compare to this? They can’t! iPhone wins again and the big iPhone 5 let down is forgiven with the amazing optics of the 4S.
