iPhone 4S to Bluetooth Keyboard

Here is a setup I have going on with my iPhone 4S. I write a lot of text messages and use social apps regularly throughout the day from my iPhone. In order to speed up the process, I’ve connected my wireless Mac keyboard via Bluetooth to the iPhone. This way I can type out everything as quickly as possible and even navigate throughout my two different Gmail accounts without having to log in and out from my laptop.

I have my iPhone 4S on Manfrotto’s compact MKC3-H01 sticks. Attached to the tripod’s QR plate with the 1/4 20″ threading is a Nasty Clamp and a friction arm onto the tripod when I want more orientation control of the iPhone.

I’ve simply synced the iPhone with the wireless keyboard via the Bluetooth connection. Settings > General > Bluetooth > Connect to Keyboard.

From the keyboard I can control LCD brightness, volume and type text. I cannot however access my world keyboard for Emojis.
I like the fact that while I’m in the screens that don’t alternate from landscape to portrait, I can manually flip the iPhone with the trigger on the Manfrotto.

If you guys have any cool setups, share!!

Olivia, you do realize that you can login to multiple gmail accounts at once right? I have over four accounts that I use.

All you have to do is click on your name on the top right of your mail box and from the drop-down menu there’s a switch account button… I hope that helps.!

    Hi Olivia,

Thanks for the tip on the nasty clamps! Just purchased a few for a project based on your recommendations :)

One question, where did you get the shark clip to affix to your iPhone 4s? Been looking online and can’t find the one you have shown.

Appreciate all of your great vids!
