CamRanger Wireless DSLR Control from iPad & iPhone – Photo Plus Expo 2012

David, the creator of the CamRanger shows me their wireless DSLR Control from your iPad and iPhone. The CamRanger is essentially a small hardware device that connects via USB to you Canon or Nikon DSLR. It creates a Wi-Fi network that your iPad or iPhone can connect to wirelessly and is currently iOS compatible only.

CamRanger has a FREE App available at the iTunes Store. The CamRanger allows you a larger degree of control for your camera. A few of the CamRanger features that David notes are: Live View, Touch Focusing, Zoom and Shutter Release.

When you capture an image, the CamRanger saves it on the camera’s card and automatically downloads the thumbnail for upload. The CamRanger has a 150′ range and small latency of about 1/4 to 1/2 of a second. Some other features that the CamRanger has: Automatic Focus Stacking, Manual Focus Adjustments, Time Lapse Sequences, Bulb Shots, HDR and Intervelometer.
