Question regarding the Portable Home Booth:
- Is this meant to be purely for podcast or on-the-fly vocal recording only? How about scripted vocal recording? I don’t see any place for a piece of paper to be mounted. If we put the paper on the side or below for the person to read, his/her voice will naturally trail towards where the script is and thus optimal recording is not achieved.
@J Toha There is no dedicated area to place a script. When I did the video (CLICK HERE) for the vocal booth I just held the paper and spoke into the mic as best I could. I’m sure you can DIY something to accomodate this need though. I’ve run into the script reading issue so many times in various booths as well. This could make a good Tuesday Tip! Thank you
A very rugged solution I thought of would be to mount the script with a Shark Clip (or something similar) on top of the Sound Booth, just off centre to the right/left.
